Some might think that because of the wide green Maine forest land and that there is not no place to shop. They will be wrong. So if you have a dream to visit Maine smoking in shopping malls and credit cards as a substitute for the beauty of rough seas crashed shorelines have hope for you. Maine is overwhelmed with places to spend your money from traditional shopping malls to flea markets to the city.
Traditional shopping can be found in South Portland and Bangor. The mall in South Portland Maine Mall is actually called. With 140 stores, 18 restaurants and anchor stores such as Sears, Macy's and JC Penneys you can have a day shopping pleasure. Because of its size, all the people in your family will find a place to lose some green. Do not worry guys, there are Best Buy, Electronics Boutique, and Fye to feed your electronic urgent. Children will find the Disney Store, Build-A-Bear, and if they are like my children munching chocolate, Godiva's special interest. Traditional mall in Bangor is called the right Bangor Mall. Shocking, huh? There are about half the size of the Maine Mall with 79 stores, but it has the same anchor stores. You can find hiking, fishing and outdoor gear at Dick's Sporting Goods store. For those who seek to support efforts Maine I'd suggest steps to Berg sportswear and pick you up the University of Maine Black Bear t-shirt.
If a traditional mall is too sterile, new or regular flea market is probably for you. It is very difficult to tell what strange forget you can find property in the flea market. In Maine there are too many flea markets to review so I will give the list to find.

Shopping experience that can be found in other cities that specialize in shopping. Yes, you heard me correctly, the entire city dedicated to art of shopping. Freeport Maine is a city like that. A motivated shopper can spend hours wandering through the streets Freeport, it's an incredible place. From the bizarre fun as the Cool Moose shop to impress in the beauty of the pottery shop Edgecomb Potters have for you. Because of an unwritten law, I have to mention big LL Bean store or they will forever bar from Freeport. After a tiring day to go shopping McDuff dare to relax. They have a page with a fenced swing set for children to play while enjoying the conversation of adults in the deck. They have a rare rug rats how to eat and chat without interruption. Bar Harbor is another quaint town with many shopping centers and other tourism activities fun. If you ever been to the Ben and Bill's Chocolate Emporium and savored some delicious treats you to understand that being a tourist isn'ta bad thing. Overall, Bar Harbor has a flare for local arts and crafts. It seems as though the whole city of artists and craftsmen. Bar Harbor long ago known as the place which is very rich but now everyone can feel comfortable here.
Please be aware that it is not even a small portion of the shops in Maine. There are in all the cities with the Maine small shops and beautiful views of the heart to offer additional expenditure. Take one or two days to meander through the city with small-town mom and pop shops to truly understand Maine and friendly people.
